Supplemental benefits were created to improve access to the daily tools consumers need to prevent illness and stay well — from over-the-counter care to healthy groceries. Benefits have been especially useful in supporting vulnerable populations, including those with Medicaid and Medicare coverage. It's no wonder the demand for these benefits has been steadily increasing. As a result, benefit design is expanding.
