Microsoft's Server 2003 was among the most popular assets in corporate infrastructure for years, but the firm chose to stop supporting it this year, forcing companies to migrate quickly. Although Microsoft announced that it would be temporarily extending support past the original July 14, 2015 deadline, organizations are urged to switch over to newer servers as soon as possible.
